The Academy of Future Coaches, presented by King Racing Shells, is designed for current seniors and recently graduated student-athletes interested in pursuing a career in collegiate coaching. The Academy of Future Coaches will provide a comprehensive training program that covers a range of topics essential to success in the collegiate women’s coaching profession. By offering this training, the Academy is not only creating stronger candidates for coaching programs but also helping to increase interest in the profession. This is important because having a diverse pool of coaches with varied experiences and perspectives can lead to more innovative and effective coaching strategies.
MENTORING PROGRAM

The continuing education committee is excited to announce the expansion of the mentoring program to include new coaches in their 1st -4th year of Full-Time collegiate coaching) in addition to current graduate assistant coaches. (Note – those interested in participating that fall outside the 1st-4th year window are still highly encouraged to apply! Mentoring can be an incredibly valuable resource for coaches at all stages of their careers.Our goal is to help to build a stronger coaching community, promote professional growth and development, and support coaches in their personal and professional lives.
Coach Connect Calls
CURRENT COACHES - CRCA MEMBERS
ONGOING Every month, coaches have the opportunity to join a zoom call with other coaches in their region (DI) or Division (DII and DIII). Not only does this provide a continual networking opportunity, it provides a supportive environment for coaches to collaborate and empower one another. It also makes sure every member has a voice and a direct line to the CRCA Board of Directors.

The CRCA Sustainability Committee is highly engaged and one of the most pro-active committees within the CRCA. We work to protect the rowing programs currently in the NCAA, plus we focus our efforts to grow the total number of Rowing Programs across the country. When your program faces a potential a threat of being eliminated, or for programs that have been cut, the Sustainability Committee is here, ready to help keep your program alive and get it to thrive.
The Committee also continually evaluates all of our current programs, and provides a toolkit that can be utilized for future needs and to help coaches grow awareness of their program status.
